Immediately I thought “Of course there is a wrong way to market.” I can instantly think of ten stupid ways to market. He went on to say, “There are countless strategies, tips, tricks, and techniques when it comes to marketing and most people get too caught up in making sure everything is perfect, but the real “secret” is to get out there and take action.”

When I worked for a Commercial Lending Firm, I spent the first two weeks making sure I had all the scripts, objections and commonly asked questions down to a T before I even made one call. The truth was, I was scared to death of calling anyone and I used “being prepared” as an excuse. During those two weeks my associate made five sales and earned $3,000 and he barely knew anything about the company. However he took action and I didn’t.

Remember when it comes to marketing and to life “you miss every shot you don’t take.” Life is short take action!
