Top 7 Tips to Get Your Images on Google Image?

1.      Label your image filename. If your page is about a “H2 Hummer,” then use the filename “h2-hummer.jpg” instead of the default name “IMG_103.jpg.” Try to name the images the same as your ALT text.

2.      Change the ALT attributes of the image tag. For example, <img src=”/ h2-hummer.jpg, “alt=”H2 Hummer Black,”

3.      Change the Title attributes of the image tag. For example, “title=”H2 Hummer.”

4.      Have relevant text surrounding your images. Put text with targeted keywords before and/or after your images.

5.      Use keywords in your anchor text to link images. Instead of “Click Here,” write “H2 Hummer Picture.”

6.      Your images need to have a resolution of about 72 dpi (dots per inch). If the resolution is too low the image will look fuzzy. If the resolution is too high the image file size will be too large and will take a long time to load. Try to keep images under 75KB.

7.      Use the Google Image Search feature in the Google Webmaster Tools www.google.com/webmasters/tools/. On the menu bar click on the Diagnostic Tab, then select Enhanced Image Search.
