Okay, fasten your seat belt, I want to share with you the Top 40 Tips to Promote Your Business With Video Sharing Sites
1. Understand Photo Sharing Site’s Algorithm (how they rank videos). They use the following factors: Title, Description, Tags, Rating, and Number of Views.
2. Keywords in Title. Make sure to put your target keyword as the title of your video
3. Make Them Look. Write effective headline as your title. Just because you post a video doesn’t mean anyone will view it. Your videos will have competition and a unique title (headline) will set your video apart from the crowd.
4. Be Descriptive. Add a description that has as many details and keywords as possible. Actually describe the video, the better the description the easier you will make it for users searching for you video.
5. Keyword Stuffing. After writing your video’s description, press return about eight times and add all relevant keywords (tags). This will drastically help people find your video.

10. Use the Editing Features. You will want to edit your videos by adding text, sound, special effects, etc.
11. Embed Your URL in the Video. Through editing features, video sharing sites allow you to embed your URL or text right in your video.

14. Create Channels. Why stop with just one channel? Create a channel for each product or service you offer. Use your keywords as the name of the channel and in the description.
15. No Video, No Problem. If you don’t have any videos of your own, don’t worry. Search the video sharing site for videos that are relevant to your niche. Once you find them, “favorite” them. Every time you “favorite” a video it becomes part of your channel, thus giving you have content you didn’t have to create.
16. Join a Group. There are groups for almost every niche you can think of. Contribute regularly to the group and put your link with your signature.
17. Create a Group. Building a group can be an extremely effective strategy to gain loyal followers and drive traffic to your site.

20. Email Your Contacts. Send an email to all your contacts with your video link. Each video has its own unique link, which makes it easy to copy, paste and send in emails.

25. Review Your Own Videos. It is perfectly acceptable to review your own video. This is a great way to get people to start commenting. Humans are curious of other people’s comments. It often takes only one comment to start the process.
26. Compound Your Efforts. Upload your videos on multiple video sharing sites. If you create 5 videos and share them on the top 10 video sharing sites. You will have your message displayed 50 times. If over the course of a year, each video is viewed only 1,000 times, then your message would be viewed 50,000 times!

29. Turn the Tables. Imagine if someone sent you the video you created. Would you want to watch it? Would you be moved to action? If not then change it so you can answer yes to both of these questions.
30. Don’t Be Salesy. Never sell anything on video sharing sites. Use your video to drive traffic to your website or blog. Find a natural way to refer to your products along with a link to your site. This is the #1 mistake most people make on video sharing sites. The video sharing community will spot a sales pitch a mile away.

33. Short and to the Point. Don’t make your videos too long. Convey your message in a couple minutes, unless the video is providing value of course.
34. What’s the Point? - Have an end objective before you create the video. What do you want the viewer to do after they are done watching? Visit your website, call toll-free number, etc. At the end of the video say “For more free tips to grow any online business go to www.BillionaireByThirty.com.”
35. It Will Be Shared. Be prepared for your videos to be shared. Once you upload your video, the video sharing sites owns it, until it’s removed.
36. Follow the Rules. Never upload videos that you don’t own. If you violate the copyright policy you will get banned and possibly sued.

38. Stay Consistent. To have success on video sharing sites takes consistent effort. Consistent effort will always yields consistent results.
39. Be Patient. The reason 99% of people will never make a cent online is because they are not patient. Just like in real life, it takes time for people to get to know, like and trust you. They don’t have to know, like and trust you a lot, just a little.
40. Get started. Don’t worry if you don’t have tons of brilliant videos. There is no way to know if your videos will be the next big hit or next big flop. But if you don’t start, you’ll never know. Remember “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

Saige,
Congratulations on blogging and your passion. If you love Mixed Martial Arts then your site will be a joy and not a chore.
If you want to build a solid, lost lasting business, then you need to use a traffic building strategy that isn’t based on SEO techniques that will go out of style. I am not saying you don’t need to learn SEO techniques, because you do. What I am saying is you need to provide genuine value to your audience, if you can do this, word of mouth will do the rest.
It’s a fact that 5% of the time spent online by the average consumer is spent buying; the other 95% is spent gathering information. The truth is people are looking for answers to their problems; they don’t care about your company. They are searching the Internet to “lose weight fast” not for your “Diet Pill 2000.” Valuable, useful content is King on the Internet. The best way to build a high traffic web site is by offering valuable content.
If you build your site around providing real value instead of pumping out worthless content, your visitors will notice. Useful, helpful articles are always sought after. They are very hard work to create, but in the long run they will generate a lot of long-term traffic. You need to focus on writing one article with best content you can, rather than dozens of sloppy ones. Just like with most things in life, quality is more important than quantity.
Cheers
